5 Tips to help you blend into a new job quickly and effectively.

5 Tips to help you blend into a new job quickly and effectively.

Ever since I have joined the largest financial BU in Taiwan in 2021, 5 tips that I have learned along the way help me fit into the team faster than I would have expected.

1. Low Key

Every company has at least one son of the bitch that is hard to get along with. Trust me, they are like roaches sneaking in & out of your kitchen.

So, what’s the tick that you encounter this kinda piece of the shit person at the workplace?

Playing low-key is the way to go. Simply because you are new to the organization. No one really gives a shit about you, where you come where, or how good you were in the past. They need a slave and you are the slave.

2. Listen

Trust me. People bitch at one another at the workplace all the freaking time. All you need to do is play well at listening to what they are wanting to say. Not only you have a good bond with whatever the fuck is saying bad things about other people, but also you have a chance to know your workplace better. I mean people who are sounding you.

3. Be good at PPT

Whoever makes a good presentation, he/she always gets a better chance to climb up the corporate ladder. A good deck says a lot of things about you, may it be your logic, reasoning, the way you see things. All of them are embodied into a PPT when you are being judged by other pieces of shit in a meeting.

4. Say something meaningful

You see people are silent at meeting all the time. As long as it is a subject that you know well. Yeah, you are entitled to say something intelligent during a meeting while most people say nothing and play stupid to waste everyone’s time.

5. Dress-up

People judge you by how you talk, dress, and behave. Always be mindful of dress up and behave smartly. Especially if you are not good-looking or bad at talking to people. All you need to do is dress sharp and people will think you are a pro. That’s how shallow society is nowadays and you just need to take advantage of it.
